The demo is a working copy of RootsMagic that allows you to take the program for a spin and get a feel for the interface and feature set. The demo is limited to 50 people, but does allow you to import GEDCOM files with more names than that (so you can try it with your own data if you are using another program).

The following features are disabled in the demo: spell checking, website creation, GEDCOM export, backup, drag and drop, printing to RTF or PDF files, and TempleReady features. Printing wallcharts is also disabled (you can generate, view, and manipulate them, but not print them).

The trial version does not include the wealth of genealogy resources included with the RootsMagic Platinum Edition.
