There are many Surnames I am working on, but here are a few to get going;

Digweeds, Anywhere, Anytime

Faulkners, Basingstoke area of Hampshire

Faulkners, Cholsey, Beckley, Charlton on Otmoor in Oxfordshire

Hall, particularly Henry Hall, late 1700’s around Queenborough, Kent

Taylor, Basingstoke area, particularly Samuel Taylor and his wife Charlotte, c 1760-1800

House, a London Family that is a brickwall for me when I get to William House who married Emma Edwards in 1864

Of we go!

Hi, and welcome to my first attempt at a Blog.

I have absolutley no idea what I am doing, and to be honest this may be a bit of a flash in pan, but lets give it a go and see how much fun it will be.

Quick background check - I have been looking at my family history now for about three years.  If only I knew then what I know now I would probably have saved myself a lot of time, like making sure you right down the source of the data correctly for example!

I use ‘The Master Geneologist’ (TMG) to store my data.  Not everyones choice but I like it.

I will be posting my surname interests over the coming days - and am more then happy to help answer any queries I can - just add a comment.

Bye for Now
