Well I’m at the point of my research where I need to apply for a death certificate for Herbert FORSTER who died at DUNKIRK and haven’t got a clue on how to go about that.   If anyone knows how too please feel free to let me know.  I’m hoping to find out on the certificate who Herbert’s  parents are.   How do I apply for one for overseas?   I know he died in 1940 aged 27 years.

This is my first time at blogging and what a great idea.   I would love to hear from anyone who have a connection to the FORSTERS of Durham, Hampshire.    I have started this blog in the hope to make contact with other descendants and also document my findings as I research this family.  What I know so far is:

Herbert FORSTER (b. c1913) (m. 1934 to Aileen Margaret GATES) (d. 1940 Dunkirk)

I do have a possible family for Herbert but cannot be sure. I think his parents are George Thomas FORSTER and Jane BALLARD.
