“Everyone has ancestors and it is only a question of going back far enough to find a good one.” Howard Kenneth Nixon
After more than a year, I’m finally checking in again, and big changes have taken place. I guess I’ll be setting up on the new blog site as time permits, but I’ll miss this one.
Later, Lianne
It’s a long time since I blogged but the last time brought positive results. Great progress was made in a line in which I was having difficulty. No one helped me; I was just inspired to work at it the more I blogged.
Now, I’m hoping to find my 3x great greatmother, Susan(nah) Rushton (nee Lonsdale) after the 1851 census. She was living at Baxenden (Accrington), Lancashire as a widow in 1851, and someone thought she remarried but I have yet to find the marriage. It’s not that there weren’t any marriages for various Susannah Rushtons, but I don’t know if any of them are mine and I don’t want to waste money on wrong certificates.
All for now, glad to be back,
Lianne
