I am Matthew Smith.  My Mother’s name is Irene Tuling, and my Father’s is Peter Smith.  Looking back on my Mother’s side, her maiden name is Tuling.  Her Father’s real surname was Leong, however, South African Immigration did not realise that Chinese name order was Surname then Lastname, so the surname changed on entry to South Africa.
