May 31st, 2007 by willconI am working on my Conacher family originating on the Athol Estates in Perthshire around 1535, the family have apparently arrived from Ireland around that time. I live in Perthshire and have studied the old Parish Records for the area and it would seem that all Con(n)achers there are descended from brothers : Mungo, Thomas, John, Charles, Peter and Alexander, there could be others as the oldest records are hard to read.
