Create a family history playlist you can enjoy and learn from all year long, with RootsTech 2023 talks and workshops.
RootsTech 2023, the world’s largest, global celebration of family and genealogy hosted by FamilySearch, held its first ever hybrid in-person and virtual event from March 2–4, reaching millions of participants from 236 countries and territories.
If you register with RootsTech, you can set up your own conference playlist to watch on-demand for a whole year. Read on for a step-by-step guide to help you get started.
1. Register with RootsTech
Simply visit FamilySearch, and if you're not already registered, create an account.
2. Select 'on demand'
You'll then be taken to the RootsTech 2023 page, simply select 'on demand' from the drop down menu.
3. Browse the video library
Then simply click 'browse the library' to access the available videos. These are arranged into topic categories, or if you select 'search for a video' instead you can do a keyword search.
4. Add to your playlist
Once you've found a video you'd like to watch, you can either watch it immediately, or click 'add to playlist' to save it for later. You can also choose to share with family and friends. It's as simple as that.
All your content will be saved to enjoy for a whole year.
