Join us for the February Family Tree Study Club meeting, at which Tania Taylor will be sharing her research into a steamer trunk of family papers which she has been fortunate enough to work on.

A collection of family letters unwittingly discloses so much more than the sender’s news: reading between the lines can give us a vivid sense of who our ancestors were – beyond cold, hard genealogical facts – and bring to life the times they were living in.
In this webinar, genealogist and writer Tania Taylor tells us about her study of one Victorian family’s correspondence, and how this adventure prompted a sudden career change!

This talk will appeal to anyone with an interest in old letters, the fascinating glimpses they give us into our ancestors’ lives, attitudes and sensibilities, and the joys and challenges of transcribing, organising and cataloguing a large collection.

When & where?
The meeting will take place on Zoom, on Monday 10 Feburary, 6.30pm. (UK time)
