Keith Gregson shares a selection of photos of bygone Shetland, showing coastal scenes and islanders at work and play.
Author and genealogist Keith Gregson discovered the photos in a junk shop some years ago and tell us: 'One of the images [above] looks like two negatives rolled into one and appears to show two peat carriers.
'I believe the images may have originated as photos to be shown on some kind of late Victorian/ early Edwardian machine. Included is a view of Lerwick and also a couple of unknown Shetland youngsters.'
Do you recognise anyone shown in the photos? If so, do contact us and we'll update this page.
