In her live online presentation 'Back To The Land', historical researcher, author and house historian Gill Blanchard will look at key records to help you trace the history of buildings and land in times gone by, examining key records such as The National Farm Survey of WW2, the Inland Revenue Survey of the early 1900s, and the Tithe and Enclosure Records created in the early decades of the reign of Queen Victoria.
Land records are vital for revealing details of the owners, occupiers, usage and boundaries of land and property in centuries past, making them invaluable resources in the House Historian's tool kit.
Gill Blanchard's live online presentation 'Back To The Land' is part of the House History Show summer lecture series.
