Genealogy website MyHeritage has announced that its collection of 47 million military records will be free to search from 8 to 12 November, to mark the centenary of the end of World War I.

Genealogy website MyHeritage has announced that its collection of 47 million military records will be free to search from 8 to 12 November, to mark the centenary of the end of World War I.

Military records are valuable resources that provide insight into the lives of those who have served in the armed forces, as well as their families. With these records, users can learn about their ancestors and honor their memory and service to their country.   

The military records at MyHeritage can provide birth and death dates, names and addresses of family members, and details of an individual's service. Search through a wide range of military records as well as military histories to learn more about your ancestor and the political climate during their service. MyHeritage also provide searchable databases from North America and all over the world.
