Deceased Online has added a substantial dataset for Eltham Crematorium, one of London’s biggest and busiest crematoria, which services two boroughs in South East London (Greenwich and Bexley), together with a large part of North West Kent.
Some 210,000 records for Eltham Crematorium include a wealth of important genealogy data: name, address, marital status, cremation number, date of cremation, date of death, age, sex, denomination, occupation, applicant and death registration details.
In addition, and for the first time, the records include maps indicating the locations for burial or dispersal of ashes.
The London database on Deceased Online now comprises more than 1.5 m burial and cremation records and this will increase again in the late summer.
