Introducing Marian Burk Wood’s Saturday talk:
‘Planning a future for your family's past: Do you have a genealogical will?’
What happens to family photos and research in the future? Learn why it’s important to write a genealogical 'will' to keep your collection in safe hands, out of the rubbish.
In her presentation, Marian Burk Wood will show you why and how to plan a genealogical ‘will’ for keeping family photos, documents and heirlooms safe and in careful hands once you have gone to join your ancestors.
She will cover:

- How to organise and inventory your collections – physical and digital (so that your heirs know what you’re leaving)
- Writing specific instructions and bequests for ‘who gets what’.
