The celebrities for this year's series of the popular genealogy TV show Who Do You Think You Are? have been revealed and include actor Andrew Garfield, comedian Diane Morgan, and singer Will Young.
The BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are? returns this Spring with eight new celebrities exploring their family history.
Among those delving into their past this season are Oscar-nominated actor Andrew Garfield, pop singer Will Young, and TV personality Ross Kemp. Their explorations will transport viewers from Napoleonic battlefields to the streets of wartime Europe, from Indian palaces to Hollywood’s golden age.
Simon Young, BBC Head of History, said:
“Every episode shows how personal stories and broader history are entwined. The tales unearthed this year — some heartwarming, others heartbreaking — capture the drama and diversity hidden in every family’s past.”
Executive producer Colette Flight added:
“Our latest line-up reveals how history ripples through generations. Whether it’s a daring escape, an unexpected royal connection, or a forgotten act of courage, these ancestors’ lives shed light on defining historical moments — and offer a fresh perspective on where we come from.”
