At Family Tree Live we believe from the heart, that family history matters and in the Family Tree Live lecture and workshop programmes our goal is to help you become the best family historian you can be.

There's nothing like getting the chance to hear what fellow family historians have to say, and our lectures and workshops will give you the opportunity to learn first-hand about:

  • The vast range of records available for you to search for clues about your family story

  • The essential research skills you need to help you overcome family history roadblocks

  • The difficult questions all family historians face and how to handle them.

In addition to the main lecture theatres at Family Tree Live there will also be a bespoke Family Tree DNA Hub - dedicated to helping you learn about DNA and discover how to unlock the clues to our ancestors that are hidden inside each and everyone one of us.

The Family Tree Live lecture and workshop programmes will have experts and enthusiasts to help you get the most from your family history discoveries - whatever level your research is at.

To join in the fun and give your family history research a boost book your tickets to the show.

If you would like to submit a paper for the lecture programme you still have time - click here to download the forms. Closing date 17th Aug.

For workshop enquiries please email [email protected]

The Family Tree DNA Hub is sponsored by Family Tree DNA, and lecture theatres are sponsored by My Heritage and The Society of Genealogists.

Family Tree Live is brought to you by Family Tree in partnership with the Federation of Family History Societies and will be held in the iconic Great Hall, Alexandra Palace on 26th and 27th April 2019.
